Accessory for HeliCommand Profi.

The HeliCommand GPS module offers the possibility to hold the helicopter in position, no matter in which altitude above ground. The system works independent of the HeliCommand Profi's optical system.

On top, the optic will support the GPS-based position functionality near ground level for a much more precise positioning than with GPS only (when option is activated).
In case of a GPS signal loss, the system will switch not only to Horizontal-mode but Position-mode. The already integrated (redundant) optical system allows this additional safety plus.
The entire system HeliCommand Profi with GPS is an optimised assistance for aerial photography or surveillance.

- Accuracy of position: 3m (2D RMS) without DGPS, 2.5m using differential correction data, dependent on accuracy of correction data, usually accuracy is even higher.
- Update rate: 2 to 5Hz
- Boot-up time (hot start, known almanac data): in blue sky within the boot-up of the HC Profi (8-10 sec.)
- Boot-up time (cold start): typically 36 sec.
